High plains, not a summit factory

This is grassy plains, snow gums, cattlemen’s huts and long views. FHAC starts at Heathy Spur. Wallace’s Hut is the short heritage walk. Pretty Valley and Rocky Valley are the landscape, not a waterfall circuit.

The village is a licensed alpine resort with its own winter rules. The national park starts when you leave the resort bubble — mentally and legally.
