Affiliate & advertising disclosure
Last updated: . Operator: Farming Domains (ABN 66 786 225 704).
In the interest of transparency (including Australian Consumer Law expectations), we disclose that this site may earn commissions or advertising revenue from some links and ads — at no extra cost to you.
Affiliate partners
- Amazon Associates (Australia) — active. Gear and packing recommendations on /gear/ may use Amazon.com.au Associates tracking.
- GetYourGuide — active. Tour search chips and verified product deep links (currently two Melbourne multi-day High Country trips) use GetYourGuide partner tracking (campaign
alpinenationalpark) and can earn a commission. - Booking.com (via Commission Junction) — active. Accommodation search deep links for Bright, Mount Beauty, Harrietville, Mansfield, Omeo, Dinner Plain, Falls Creek and Mount Hotham (and related stay panels) may earn a commission. Outbound Booking links use
rel="sponsored"and open in a new tab. Park camping and Falls to Hotham tent platforms are official Parks Victoria products and are never affiliated.
When tracking is active, outbound stay, tour and gear links typically use rel="sponsored" (plus standard noopener noreferrer). Prices, availability and booking terms are controlled by the partner site — not by this guide.
Advertising
Google AdSense (publisher ca-pub-1520278362040469) may load on this site. Individual ad-unit slot IDs may still be placeholders until units are created for this domain — ads.txt still ships at site root. Ads are labelled where required by the network.
What we do not monetise
We do not take commissions on official Parks Victoria park-entry fees, camping fees, cottage/park accommodation bookings, or other official park payments. Those belong on official channels only.
Editorial recommendations aim to be useful first. If you buy through a link, thank you — it helps keep the guide free. See also our privacy policy.
