Alpine National Park map
Last reviewed · orientation only — not walked; verify Parks Victoria maps and alerts
These embeds are for orientation only — not a park-boundary or trail-difficulty app. Official park maps, alerts and track notes always win. Start at Parks Victoria — Alpine National Park and park alerts. How long you need on the ground: plan your visit. The park is huge — pick a pin that matches the day, not a whole-park zoom.
Best map for…
Plain English, not GIS. Pick the pin that matches the day you actually have.
First visit / short High Plains day
Start at Wallace’s Hut. Seasonal High Plains Road. If you wanted a summit, use Razorback or Bogong instead — do not invent a third walk on the same afternoon.
Razorback / Feathertop from Hotham
Diamantina Hut pin. Weather window required. Bungalow Spur is a different start in Harrietville — not this carpark.
Bogong / Mount Beauty base
Mountain Creek / Staircase Spur. Sleep in Mount Beauty, not Bright. Eskdale and Granite Flat are other routes — verify the signed start.
Walking tracks
Use this site’s trails hub for named walks, then Parks Victoria track notes for grade, distance and open/closed. These embeds are not a trail app.
Wallace’s Hut / Bogong High Plains
